September Favourites

Hey Everyone!

I know everybody says this but where has September gone? Seriously, it feels like we're still in August!!  But... now it's October so it's my birthday on the 3rd!!! I'm so excited for it! Do you guys want me to do a birthday haul post? Anyway, onto today's favourites, I have discovered some new things this past month, so lets get on with the post!

First up, I fell for the hype and bought the Maybelline Baby Lips! Mine is Pink Punch and I LOVE it! It smells so good and it leaves a hint of colour to your lips, which I love! It's also a really good lipbalm, I never let myself get dry, chapped lips but this does leave my lips feeling baby smooth! I've just been really liking it this month!
I did a review here!

These two have been helping my skin a lot! I have been breaking out like mad! (I still am, does anybody know a method that helps get rid of them? I have a photo shoot coming up for my birthday and I don't want to look really spotty on the photos!) Anyway, these have helped calm down redness and have stopped making my spots obvious, so I love them for that!

This product was new to me this month, it's a shadow paint. It feels quite weird when you put it onto your eyelids. It feels very wet, but once this dries, this is not moving for anybody! It's a really nice golden colour that compliments my blue eyes. It looks stunning on it's own and is great when you are having a lazy day. For me, I hardly ever wear eyeshadow, so this makes it really easy!

My Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer! It's love is all I can say!! If you want to see a full review click here!
But this is holy grail! But, it's now too orange for me and I need a lighter shade! :(

Next is, my Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation, I got this from Rimmel to try out as part of their stay matte challenge. I really like this foundation, you only need half as much as you usually would need. As I'm quite oily it keeps me  looking natural all day and staying matte (shiny is never a good look)! I've done a full review here.

This is another completely love!!! It's amazing! It smells good, leaves a matte finish, lasts for ages and I just love it!! A full review will be coming soon, so keep checking back for that!

Another thing that I have been liking this month is white eyeliner. I have a Maybelline one which I can't find online, but I like how it makes you look awake! It's not noticeable in the waterline and it makes your eyes look bigger.

Hey everyone,

I found this picture on my iPod of me, posing and thought that it would be quite a good OOTD. I wore this outfit, to my nan's house and to go out shopping. This outfit it entirely from New Look and was bought with a voucher that I got for Christmas!

Enjoy!

Hey Guys!

It feels like ages since I posted but apparently it's only been 2 days. But anyway, I wanted to show you guys this outfit that I have been loving recently!

Yes I know my mirror is dirty and the camera quality is rubbish, but, y'know! And I know you're all thinking, a crop top in autumn, is she mad?! It's actually been pretty nice where I am at the mo so I'm making the most of the weather! And... it's 3 days, 8 hours, 44 mins and 53, 52, 51, 50 seconds (yeah you get the idea) till my birthday! I'm seriously excited!!! Eeek!!

Review: No7 Cleansing Water

no7
Hey guys!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the cleanser I have been using for the past 1-2 months. I bought this when Boots were giving out their £5 off skincare and £3 off makeup. I was in the market for a new cleanser and seen as this would be a bargainous £3 with the voucher I thought why not!? And off I hopped to the till!

This is a water based cleanser so it's like Bioderma, I haven't tried Bioderma so can't compare the 2 though.

Onto the actual cleanser, I chose the type specifically for combination, oily skin. It comes in other types as well so if you had dry skin it would have a clanser specially catered for you. This has a slight smell to it which personally I like, but if you had sensitive skin then this might not be for you!

This effectively removes my makeup at the end of the day, I don't wear a lot of makeup on a day to day basis. However, I think if you did then it would probably take it quite a while to dissolve through your makeup.

I do really like it, it makes my skin feel refreshed, it smells nice and does remove most makeup. If you wear heavy makeup on a day to day basis then you may want to double cleanse though. So, I do like it, but it's not holy grail! I really want to try the L'oreal cleansing water as I've heard so many rave reviews, but I have a body shop cleanser to use first! :( I told myself to finish products before I buy more!! :(

Review: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

Hey!

I picked this up in my local Boots in the clearance sale and it was reduced a £1! It's a really nice, pale pink that is perfect for everyday. The shade is 410 Softshell Pink.

The packaging looks very posh - black and gold - and it looks and feels more expensive than it was. On application I found that it applied nicely but throughout the day it did settle in lines in the lips. I think if you had really dry lips this formula wouldn't be for you.

It lasted pretty well throughout the day and It's the perfect your lips but better.

Overall, I do like this lipstick but I would say it isn't amazing. I'm happy with it fkr £1 but if I'd payed the full price of £7.49 then I would feel slightly disappointed.

Review: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Hey Guys!

Now as you've probably guessed from the title of this post, I am going to be reviewing this concealer! This concealer has had a lotta lotta hype surrounding it. I was in the market for a new concealer as my old one had started to dry up and go a bit icky, so when I saw this on offer in Superdrug for £3.69 instead of £4.19, I thought I'd give into the hype and buy it!

And boy am I glad I did! This is now holy grail!! I love it! It's such high coverage so you only need a tiny amount! This covers everything without looking cakey. This covers any spots or blemishes that I have without making it look obvious that I'm covering something - yay! It also covers any dark circles that you may have effectively.

I seriously love this and will continue to repurchase now!

Buy it here or here (reduced here)!

Review: Maybelline Baby Lips

lip
Hey Guys!

Today I'm reviewing the Maybelline Baby Lips! Ok, these have been so hyped up by our American bloggers so when they finally landed in the UK, everybody was excited (including me)! Now I caved so quickly into the hype and within the first 2 days of them being launched in the UK, I'd bought one! Pink Punch!

First off, this smells amazing! To me it's like raspberry's and peaches mixed together! It's lush! I picked up one of the tinted balms and this one is tinted pink. As you can see from the picture below, it does have a quite a bit of pigment for a tinted lip balm.

It applies really smoothly and creamily to the lips and since using this my lips have been smooth.

Overall, this isn't an incredible lip balm, but, it leaves a nice amount of colour, smells delicious and does help moisturise your helps. It's nice to have in your handbag but it isn't holy grail.

Buy it here or here for £2.99!

Sorry it's this way up, Blogger won't let me change it! Grrr

Review: Avon Colour Trend Eyeliner: Black Attract

Hey!

This eyeliner is really good actually, I'm really impressed with it! It's by Avon and is in the colour black attract. The eyeliner applies really creamily and it doesn't drag your eye. It stays put for quite a while but when you put something on your waterline, it will wear away eventually.

I do really like this eyeliner and will continue to use it, it's a nice deep, black that applies really creamily and it packed full of pigment I hate eyeliners that you have to press really hard to get any colour onto your waterline. I can't stand eyes so having to stand for ages at a mirror pressing really hard onto the inner rim of my eye doesn't help when your squeamish around eyes! But, thankfully, this is really nice to apply and it doesn't drag your eyes.

Would You Rather? Beauty Edition

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
This is easy, lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows! I hardly ever wear eyeshadow but wear the others daily, so I'd probably find them quite easy to give up.

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Hmmm, I'd probably say never cut it again. You could always chop off any split ends yourself? Maybe?

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink! I wear pink cheeks more than coral!

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Hmmm. I love both... This is so hard - I don't actually know. Probably makeup??

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Ouch, how would you apply lipstick as eyeliner?! So I'd probably go for eyeliner as lipstick.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
In the UK, we don't have Sephora and I don't own anything from MAC, but I'd probably say MAC.

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One eyeshadow colour. I love to change my lip colour but if I wear eyeshadow it pretty much stays the same.
Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Here in UK, summer's can be pretty cold, so I'd say wear winter clothes in summer.
Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Brights!! I never wear dark colours anyway regardless of the time of year! The brighter the nail, the better!

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
Hmmm, probably favourite eye product.
Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
My hair's really short so I can't do either but probably a messy bun.
Would your rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lip gloss! I always paint my nails but hardly ever use lipgloss.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?
I wouldn't like to do either but, I think I'd go for sharpie them in everyday.

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
This is hard! I love nail polish and makeup, but I'd probably say I'd live without nail polish!

I hope you enjoyed my answers and I tag all of you to do this! Let me know if you do this as I'd love to see your answers!
