June Favourites

Hi guys!

Welcome to my June favourites! I know every blogger and their dog says this but seriously, where is the year going?? It's nearly the end of the school year! Wow!

Onto my favourites of the month, I don't have loads but these things have stood out to me.

First thing is the Garnier Moisture Match moisturiser. I got this when it was on special offer. I really liked this, it had a nice calm smell and it got rid of redness and controlled my oily skin. I've sadly run out of this now and it doesn't last an awfully long time but I would definitely buy it again if it was on offer. I do love it but I now have a different moisturiser that I am trialling.

The next thing is the Soap & Glory Thick and Fast mascara. I LOVE the effect this gives my lashes. It makes them look long, volumised and not clumpy. I can do a light layer to achieve a natural look or I can do several coats to get a more dramatic look. Either way I love it!

I have also loved the Collection 24hr Extreme Felt Tip Liner. I really like this as it lasts a super long time. I like to do just a really thin line on my top lash line to subtly define them. This lasts all day, is easy to use and is super duper cheap!

The next thing is a Tanya Burr lip gloss in Aurora. This smells sooo good (like strawberry laces), it gives just enough colour on the lips and stays a long time! These are now my favourite lip glosses and I would definitely buy more!

And lastly we have the Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation, I have a sample of this but have really enjoyed using it. The colour match just works as they all have an orange under tone to them (I can only wear this in the summer months). I have been using this instead of a concealer on spots and blemishes as it claims to give you better skin. I can't say I've noticed a lot of difference as I have pretty clear skin but I have been liking it as a concealer.

Those are all my favourites of the month! I hope you enjoyed this post. What have you been loving?

Massive Haul! New Look, Topshop, H&M and More!

Hey guys!

I have a MASSIVE haul for you today! This is stuff that I have been collecting for a couple of months so it wasn't just 1 big shopping trip. I needed a few things and there were so many nice things in the shops that I couldn't resist some things!

Okay, so first up I bought these tops from Topshop. These were the first things I've ever bought from there and I love them. They're vest tops but I really like the style of them as they're not just your average plain top. I got one in this bright peach colour and another in a green/yellow colour. They were also 2 for £10.

Also from Topshop I picked up these black shorts (I am wearing them in the photos above). I'm going away with my school for a week and it's an adventure holiday type thing, I din't have any shorts so thought I'd probably need some. I also needed shorts for PE. I really like these ones as they fit really nicely. They were £8.
From H&M I bought this grey crop vest top. This was £1.99 and I bought it to wear underneath things and also to wear on its own if the weather gets very hot.

From Store Twenty One, I picked up this storage box, it looks like a book and it's got a really cute print on it. I think this was either £1.99 or £2.99 so it wasn't expensive. It looks really pretty in my bedroom!

Now we have the beauty and extra bits. I picked up the Garnier Moisture Match for oily/combination skin from Superdrug for £2.98. I got 2 dry shampoos from Asda for £1 each. I got another bottle of the L'oreal fibreology shampoo for £2.89. I've practically finished my last one. I got 3 of the Extra Dessert Delights as they are delicious!!! I got the flavours Mint Chocolate Chip, Strawberry Vanilla Cupcake and Lemon Square. They were £1.95 each. I picked up a Tanya Burr lipgloss in Aurora from Ebay for £4. I got the Collection 24 hour extreme liner from Superdrug for around £2.79 and finally I got one of the new Barry M Gelly Lips for £4.99. Does anyone know how they turn up??

From New Look I picked up these gorgeous mint green pumps! I LOVEE them! They are such a nice colour and I live in my old pumps!

For my trip away I picked up some cheap, plain t-shirts, these were 2 for £5 so if they get wrecked it doesn't matter. I then got some grey shorts for £3.99 and some waterproof shoes for £6.

I needed a new swimming costume, saw this one a loved it! It looks plain and then BAM you see the neon stripes. This fits me really well and gives you a nice shape. I then saw the Coca Cola top and loved it! I have a slight obsession with Coca Cola at the moment so this is just an amazing top!

My mum picked up this aztec print top for me in the New Look. It's got a lovely print and I can't wait to wear this top in the summer months. And then I got this top for Easter from my aunt but thought I'd include it anyway. It's a really comfy, slouchy top and I'm wearing it right now!

My mum also picked up these things in the sale for me. The first is this blue flower print skirt. It's really light and floaty and would look gorgeous in the summer months. She then picked me up this daisy print top. I love this, it's a really girly summery top and would look great with denim shorts.

I then got this white and navy top. This again would look great with denim shorts and it's such a lovely top. Then I got this jumper from Asda, this would be great for my trip away as it's quite lightweight and will be good if it gets cold. This was £5.

I needed a jacket for the spring/summer months for when I still need something but just not as heavy. I saw this one in Asda in the sale for £15. I love it, it's light weight, fits well and looks good. Also I bought the jeans that I am wearing in this picture from H&M, they £12.99 and I LOVE them! They fit so nicely, the sizes are small though so I would say size up as these are a size 12. I'm usually an 8, so they are quite small. They are really comfy and I get loads of wear out of them.

And lastly, I got a watch. I never ususally wear watches but since I got this one I've worn it everyday! I like how it's simple and the clock face is easy to read. This was £5 from Asda.

That's it for my massive haul! I hope you enjoyed this post! I will not be buying anything else for a while. Thanks for reading!

Summer Essentials by tashtastic featuring a beach bag

Hey guys!

Another Bloggers do it better post! Today I thought I'd show you my 5 summer essentials!

First up, a pair of shorts. A staple for summer. You can dress them up or down, they look cool and are comfy.

A swimming costume. Something to wear whilst lounging on the beach, or even in the garden to soak up those rays. (Not that we get many rays here in the UK)!

Flip flops, something to slip on and off whilst around the house and in the garden. They're also light so you can carry them to the beach!

Beach bag. Big enough to fit in your towel, book, flip flops, suncreen etc. They look cool and give you that beach vibe

And lastly sunglasses, you've got to protect those eyes now. When you find an awesome pair of sunglasses you instantly feel like summer's arrived! And, if you look at yourself through sunglasses you look tanned! Win, win!

So those are all my summer essentials! I hope you enjoyed this post. Do you have any different essentials?
