Review // Zoella Beauty Shower Cream

Hey guys.

Today's post is of the vlogging phenomena's beauty line 'Zoella Beauty'. As soon as it was released I knew I wanted to try something. I decided to pick up this as it was multi-purpose and you get a lot of product for your money.

I really enjoy using this as a bubble back and shower gel. It has a pretty non-offensive smell to it which I quite like. It's not sweet which is what I thought it would be - it's quite fresh. When used in the bath it creates lots of bubbles and the smell fills the bathroom.

It's good as a shower gel too, it lathers up nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after using it which I really like.

Overall, a really nice, good product that I will finish up. Zoe did well with this. I'd repurchase and try more from the line. I really want to try the Fizz Bar!

Haul: Sales, Beauty and Random Items

Hey guys!

Hope you're well! Today is going to be a haul post, this is some of the stuff that I have bought in the sales recently and some other beauty bits n bobs thrown in!

First of all, I actually bought this before Christmas. This was reduced in the sale to £8.00. It is a bright, vivid orange colour and is relatively thick. I've already had quite a lot of wear out of it in December/January.

Blue Bag - New Look (Not Available Online)

On the same trip to New Look I also spotted this bag reduced to £8.00. I'd seen it before and nearly bought it, so I'm glad I'd waited for it to be reduced. It's a gorgeous rich blue colour with a kind of mottled (?) effect on it. It's quite small which is fine by me as I hardly carry anything with me.

Whilst I was away in Amsterdam, myself and my family went to Mango. I spotted this top which I loved! It reminded me of The 1975 lyric 'guns hidden under our petticoats'. (That detail may have influenced my purchase slightly.)  It looks great with a leather jacket that I just bought and was reduced to 24.99 euros.

Leather Jacket - Matalan (Not available online)

I popped to Matalan for a quick mooch around, not a lot grabbed my eye until I spotted this leather jacket. It's black fake leather and was reduced to £12.00 from £30.00 which I thought was a pretty good discount. They only had it an an 8 and ideally, I would've needed in a 10, but  for £12.00 I thought, even if I'm not in it that long it didn't cost a lot.

Then I had a little splurge in Boots, but it was ok because I had 2 gift cards. I actually bought the electro baby lips in Amsterdam as they were pretty cheap and I like my other ones. I also got this nail polish reduced in Topshop to £3. It's a really pale blue shade with tiny white speckles in it; I thought it was quite unusual. Then in Boots, I finally decided to take the plunge and get the Maybelline Falsies mascara. I'm so glad I have it now as I LOVE it; it makes my eyelashes look amazing. As Maybelline was on buy 1 get one half price I thought I'd pick up the Maybelline Brow Drama (medium brown). So far I'm really liking it. Then lastly I repurchased my Collection felt tip liner as it was reduced to £2.50.

From Asda, I got 2 of the Garnier Moisture Matches as they were reduced to £1.97. I got the green 'Shine be Gone' and yellow 'Protect and Glow'. I have already tried the green one before and really liked it so it's nice to have a new one. I thought I'd get another one as they were so cheap, so went for the glowy one as my skin can look a little dull in the colder months.

Finally I got a selfie stick! This was under £5 and I had wanted one for ages. It extends a lot and I can't wait to take some long distance selfies!

That's what I have bought recently. Have you picked up anything in the sales?

A Different Christmas

Hey Guys!

It may feel like Christmas is long gone now, but I thought I'd show you a few snaps of my Christmas. It was very different to how they usually are as we were in AMSTERDAM! Myself and my family had an amazing time and it was such a cool and unique Christmas. I had a lot of fun. Enjoy the photos!

We travelled on the 22nd and came back on the 29th.

23rd December // General Exploring and Light Festival

24th December // Anne Franks House and The Fault in Our Stars

26th December // Magna Plaza and the Centre of Amsterdam

27th December // Amazing Breakfast, Tram Ride and Shopping

Hope you enjoyed looking at a few of my snaps. It was a great Christmas. We didn't get any presents so today (29th) we opened them. I had so much fun this Christmas. How was your Christmas?

New Years Tag

Hey guys!

Thank you to Molly for tagging me!

1)  What was the single best thing that happened this past year?
Tricky, maybe going to Amsterdam for Christmas! It was such a cool experience.

2)  What was the single most challenging thing that happened?
Starting year 10. The work load increased majorly; it was not the best year to start having more things to do at the weekends. Or getting my braces.

3) What was an unexpected joy this past year?
Getting obsessed with The 1975, Emmerdale and even more obsessed with Suede. (Great bands, great programme).

4. What was an unexpected obstacle?
In a way, my friends to start off, but not any more. (if that makes any sense).

5. Pick three words to describe 2014.
Same but different.

6. Pick three words a family member would use to describe your 2014 year (don’t ask them; guess based on how you think your spouse sees you).
Exciting, tiring, different.
7. Pick three words a family member would use to describe their 2014 year (again, without asking).
Busy, tiring, fun.
8. What were the best books you read this year?
The Bunker Diary, Flashes and the Iron Fey series.

9. With whom did you have the most valuable relationship with?
Nobody especially sticks out, but I guess my mum. We're very close and have the weirdest conversations that only make sense to us.

10. What was your biggest personal change from January to December of this past year?
Juggling so many things at once. Blogging, school, social life, family get togethers.

11. In what way(s) did you grow emotionally?
I learnt to embrace my quirkiness. At the start of 2014, I wasn't really truly me. I'd try to act cool etc. But now, I think everybody is boring and I'm the cool one, haha.

12. In what way(s) did you grow spiritually?
I wouldn't say I grew spiritually, I'm not a very spiritual person.

13. In what way(s) did you grow physically?
My hair got longer, I got taller.

14. In what way(s) did you grow in your relationships with others?
I really have no idea - I guess I got to know some people better and become slightly more confident.

15. What was the most enjoyable part of your work (both professionally and at home)?
Doing the subjects I chose to do and enjoy. Now there is never really that bad a day.

16. What was the most challenging part of your work (both professionally and at home)?
The homework! Having to do 6 hours of school and then another couple of hours at home.

17. What was your single biggest time waster in your life this past year?
GEOGRAPHY! So glad I dropped it; hated it, massive time waster.

18. What was the best way you used your time this past year?
Spending more time with family that we don't see very often and going to more city places on holidays rather than hot places.

19. What was biggest thing you learned this past year?
Embrace the weirdness - it's what makes you you! Cliche but y'know, I learnt it.

20. Create a phrase or statement that describes 2014 for you.
A tiring, hectic but super fun year!
So that was the New Years Tag! Hope you enjoyed reading it. I'm not really the most reflective of people so this was kind of hard for me to do.

I tag...

And anybody else who wants to do this tag!
